The company cannot be sold

Control sits with a purpose trust. Investors receive a capped return, then their shares are redeemed. There is no IPO path. Hospitality is free forever — a charter clause, enforceable by a party that is not us.

We never charge for

• Access to hosts, or to messaging.
• Safety or identity verification. Charging for safety is the original sin.
• Visibility or ranking boosts.
• Any per-stay fee.

Permitted revenue

• Member-led experiences — the host keeps the large majority.
• Ticketed gatherings.
• Optional travel cover. We profit from fewer claims, not more.
• Voluntary supporter membership. Recognition and governance only.
• Fallback hostel affiliate when a search is empty, capped at 15% of revenue. Breaching the cap is a failure signal, not a win.
