Ranking and search rules
Search and request order are not for sale. Supporter membership, tickets, experiences, and hostel affiliates never change these rules.
City density
A city opens when it has at least fifty responsive hosts: identity verified, able to host, with a live availability window, and active in the last thirty days. Until then the page shows the real count and founding members — never invents supply.
Who appears in search
Memorialized members never appear. Dormant members — no lastActiveAt in ninety days and no live window — are archived out until they sign in again. Women-hosting-women profiles are visible only to that affinity layer.
Host lists inside an open city
Only hosts with an open dated window. Sorted by recent activity, not by standing score and never by money. Silence expires the window and removes you from the list.
Inbox request order
Pending requests to a host are ordered by the guest's standing band (steward → contributor → present → newcomer), then status. Bands come from hosting, events, vouching, guiding, moderating, and translating. Standing decays. It cannot be bought with a supporter mark or a ticket.
